Arooj Aftab is the Founder behind #donewithdiversity, a community/movement that’s about changing the narrative on how the word ‘diversity. How the media and media industry portrays the word amongst black, brown, LGBTQIA+ and disabled bodies isn’t helping according to the DWD philosophy. The word signifies difference and that has meant the tokenisation of those that the word sought to describe. There’s lots to discuss as well as minds to change.
